Our Opinion
Relaxing and informal resort situated on the south west coast of the Island of Praslin. This resort is known to be well managed, with excellent customer care and enjoys a stunning location overlooking the Anse Bois De Rose and is set amongst tropical surrounds. Beach can have seaweed from May to October but the resort offers complimentary bus transfers to Cote d’Or Beach during this time. Cote d’Or is located on the northern side of the island and is not affected with seaweed at this time.
Summary
Coco de Mer is a four star hotel offering modern facilities in a tropical setting and friendly atmosphere. It is surrounded by peace and tranquility, set on the beach in lush tropical gardens filled with mango and banana trees, coconut palms and colourful flowers.

RESTAURANTS

  • EXCURSIONS
    Vallée de Mai Natural Park
The Vallée de Mai National Park, a world heritage site reminiscent of the Garden of Eden, is almost on your doorstep - for you to explore and enjoy. There you will find the famous coco-de-mer palm as well as many other endemic plants and animals. Gentle walking trails allow one to enjoy the overwhelming natural splendor of this unique palm forest.
    Anse Lazio
One of the world's most beautiful beaches. A hotel shuttle service operates free of charge several times a week for our clients, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful, relaxing day on this wonderful picture postcard beach.
    Hiking and Snorkeling
There are many fantastic snorkeling spots around the island, where you can see the most colourful fish, swim next to a turtle and enjoy the still intact underwater life. Several hiking paths cross the island and it is really worthwhile to take the time for a walk up the hills or to stroll through the tropical forest.
    Excursion to surrounding islands
Spend a day in La Digue, one of Seychelles' prettiest islands, where you will find friendly people, oxcarts and a slower pace of life. You can reach La Digue by ferry (30 min). On the island itself, the easiest way of getting around is either by bicycles or oxcart. Definitely worth a visit are Cousin Island, a Nature Reserve and home to some of Seychelles' rarest birds, and Curieuse Island, where you will find a tortoise-breeding colony.
