A large resort with excellent facilities but best suited to those who are happy to stay within the resort or willing to hire a car for the duration of their stay. It is excellent both for couples and families, as the hotel caters well for children of all ages.

Summary

The Plantation Club Resort & Casino is situated on the south west coast of Mahe. This is an exceptional setting amongst swaying palms on the coastal plateau at Valmer Beach and the beautiful emerald and turquoise ocean. The resort is officially rated as a 4* and fronted by a kilometre long white sandy beach.
It is a 30min (20km) drive from the airport and 45 min (35km) drive from Victoria.
The resort has a large main swimming pool and children’s pool, the Turtle Club for kids and an extensive range of sports and activities. There is plenty to do for all the family.

The Raffles Bar is in the centre of the hotel complex and the Lazares Cocktail Bar is situated overlooking the Lazares Speciality Restaurant. The Planter’s Bar accompanies the stylish Planter’s Casino, where you can enjoy the remaining hours of the day before retiring.
